The Truth

When you find out the truth it really hurts sometimes

It’s hard to accept it and it always takes time

People sometimes cannot comprehend to the truth

Especially when they believed in what they thought.

The truth really hurts but it sets you free

It gives you the courage to face a brand new day.

Sometimes you stumble but you always stand up,

Sometimes you feel like you’re in a very deep trap.

You try finding a way to get out but it’s hard

And you cry because of the emptiness you find

There is no one there beside you, to comfort you...

And you find out there’s nothing you could ever do.

You try seeking help, but no one ever hears you

You start feeling like everything’s against you.

You suffered so much and you want to break free

You wait for someone who will set you free.

Until one day everything came clear

There’s light, there’s no more reason to fear

Something is waiting for you out there

Welcoming you and telling you it’s all over.

You are now ready to start a brand new day

You’ll take those feelings of emptiness away

Because now you’re stronger from the truth

Taking all the painful past away from your thoughts.

I'm puzzled as to how the attendant couldn't explain how the girl drowned when there should always be someone watching over the students who use the swimming pool. It could either be because there was no one around to watch over the swimming pool when the drowning happened or the attendant could be involved in the drowning of the girl. I think there was negligence on the part of the school and its attendants. If there was a school attendant present during the time of drowning, the girl could have been rescued and given first aid immediately. These accidents can be stopped and prevented if there is proper guidance and staff presence during swimming activities in the school. If there are no swimming activities, the facility should be closed and guarded to avoid unauthorized use when no school staff is around.
